Studies
What I study
B.A. Economics, Appalachian State, with a minor in Behavioral Economics and Music.
Research interests
Behavioral economics
How individuals interact with a digital economy, and how social media influences economic systems. The questions I care about here are about behaviour at the interface: what changes when a market is mediated by a feed, and what happens to an economy when attention is one of the things being allocated.
Macro & development economics
What are the barriers to economies of scale forming in developing nations? And how accurate are our macro models, really — how much of their predictive power survives contact with economies structured unlike the ones the models were built for?
