I started playing drums when I was in middle school and I’ve never stopped. Over the years I’ve played in multiple bands and learned from some great players! I picked up guitar when I was in high school, and I’m currently working on solo singer-songwriter songs on acoustic guitar. Music’s a part of my life that will never go away and I can’t wait for any future musical endeavors!
I’m always open to new musical inquiries — if you need a drummer, reach out: oscaryarbrough1@gmail.com.

Music Lessons
Open to everyone — in person or online, whichever works for you.
Teaching philosophy
Music is about having fun and connecting with people. I believe that everyone has music inside of them and craves to be able to say something with that voice. In my lessons I prioritize having fun, building a solid foundation, and a holistic understanding of the fundamentals. However, every student is different and I love to make adjustments depending on my student’s needs and what they want to say with their musical voice.
Rates & booking
I generally do $60 an hour for in-person lessons and $40 for online lessons. But rates are flexible — tell me what you are after and we will work it out.
In 2024, guitarist and vocalist Jake Hodges and I cofounded this project together. Throughout my time with the band I had the pleasure of playing with Ethan Salemy, Jay Archie, and Perry Lee. I’m so grateful for the beautiful music and all the great memories that were made! I contributed as the drummer, social media manager, content creator, and booking manager. I also helped mix and produce the band’s music using Logic Pro and DIY recording techniques.
I spent a summer studying West African drumming in Ghana. While there, I learned from Emmanuel Avornyo, an incredible master drummer.
